Vintage Pram Fan

For Fans of Silver Cross and all Vintage Prams

At this time of year it is amazing to look at the different kinds of Christmas lights that are around, in the towns and villages and on houses. We see Santas climbing ladders, trains, Santa’s sleigh but how many of us have seen a display like the oneĀ in this photo? A pram!!!

Friends of mine, who live in France, sent me the picture taken in the village near where they live and said when they saw it they just had to take a photo for me! This is a tiny village in rural France which makes it even more amazing that someone has taken the time and effort to make such an unusual display.

The pram shape is made from a cut-out and if you look closely you can see there is actually a figure of a lady beside it.

I think it is a lovely idea and wonder how many vintagepramfan subscribers will take up the idea themselves for next Christmas (or even this year if you have not yet put up your lights!)

Thank you Patty, I thought it was lovely too, and like you say, different from the usual light displays here in the UK

Yes of course you can, Nelly. I don’t mind you using the picture as long as it is not for commercial use. Happy Christmas to you and yours. Lucy
